It all started with what I needed
The bathroom in the apartment I lived in at the time was small and had no windows, so I felt oppressed every day. One day, I thought it would be nice to have a poster that I could put up in the bathroom, so I went to a home improvement store to look for one. I thought they would be readily available, but they didn't have any...I ordered them online, but there were only a few varieties, and I couldn't find the design I liked...So I thought I'd just make one myself, and that's how it all began.
After many failures, the ideal material was finally found
The absolute requirements were that it be water-resistant, easy to apply, and that the image look beautiful. We ordered materials that seemed to meet these requirements, made samples and tested them, and this process of trial and error continued for about two years for the short-term replacement type and about three years for the long-term fixed type. After allowing sufficient time for the ink to dry, the surface is matte laminated. This not only ensures a beautiful finish to the image, but also makes it sturdy and eliminates the worry of the ink melting.
